Once a waterbug, always a water bug.

Well, another workweek has past. It is officially spring. The temperature's slowly rising, and my allergies are taking over.  Mom and I went to Stephens house after dinner last night, minutes after petting Stephens cat  Nermal,  my eyes get red and watery-oy.
Aside from that, I had today off so I put clothes away and went for a run while mom worked.
I couldn't help but think after a conversation I had with a co worker  that morning, it is time for a slight change of pace.  As in I need a vacation or something.  Right now everything feels like the same old, same old.
Today I went for a 5k run with my mom and Stephen. and then mom and I ended up going for a swim for a little bit.  When I was in the pool, it reminded me of how much I used to swim all the time when my grandparents had a pool in their backyard.  My grandma even said I was  a waterbug because i spent so much time in that pool. I still remember going for afternoon swims, evening swims, my uncle doing bellyflops from the diving board with a splash so big, you could feel waves in the shallow end of the pool. I still remember grandma doing laps in the pool, or watching everyone else swim from the balcony.  Ofcourse it was such an imposition to ask people to come over when you have a pool in the backyard. Even to this day, I know there will always be part of me that will always be a water bug.
*hehe*
