Sunday Night blog

Hello everyone!
Well  Thursday turned out to be all about food. At the staff meeting, they fed us breakfast, and then I ended up seeing my friend Jenn for a little bit. After that it was time for run group. Idid a 6 mile temp run, and today it was back to work.  I had to work the morning  I was at Southpark mall until three thirty today. Then mom and I got food from a friends house, and we've been at home the rest of the evening.
Right now I hate technology. The other day, my mom and I wanted to watch a movie on Amazon Prime. So I signed up for the free thirty day trail and now for some reason we can't watch it on the t.v.  We have been trying to figure out how to register my account on the tv for the past half hour. o0 I know. Should it really be this hard just to watch a movie?
We ended up giving up, and tomorrow we shall try again. I went back to watching anime on Netflix. Do I need more to do besides Netflix binge and run? Maybe. *hehe*
Saturday, I ended up running 13 miles. It was nice to lower the milage after doing really long runs the past couple of weeks.   After that I worked the UTSA game. Today, I was back at Six Flags. At least today the weather was nice, and today is the last day of frightfesr soon, so soon the monsters there will be replaced with holiday in the park.
I'll be working Halloween night, so the only trick or treaters I will see are the ones who go trick or treating at Ingram Mall that evening. But that works for me. Halloween has never been a big night for mom and I.  But, that also mean Thanksgiving and Christmas are just around the corner- which means lots of turkey, pumkin spice everything, and present shopping.  The only thing missing, since I live in San Antonio is snow.
Love you all.

Mixing the old with the new

Hello everyone!
Well, my room, and the living room finally do not look like a bomb went off.  The most challenging  part of everything is that apparently I am supposed to have a new routine , aside from work.  The thing is I liked my old routine. I guess I am still figuring out what needs to change, and what can stay the same. Hopefully there will be some balance to the force.
Thankfully today I got a taste of my old routine. I worked then I ended up going to body attack and body flow at the gym.  It was nice to go to a couple of the aerobics classes tonight. When I was in Dallas, aside from walking, all  I really got to do was run on the treadmill when I could. Part of me still feels like the wicked witch of the west, and wants to continue to hide and  eat cookie dough while binge watching shows on Netflix.
But, you can only do that for so long, and life does go on. All you can do is move forward with it.
Love you all.

Sunday Night Blog

Hi everyone!
Well it's been been a busy few days.  After I got back from Dallas late on Thursday, I ended up getting ready for my 20 mile run on Saturday morning.  The weather was nice for running, but it definitely wasn't my best run.  I told Felcia I am in a love/hate relationship with the long runs.  I have begun to think of races like the person you're in an on and off relationship with.  As much as you say this is my last race, or the last time I am going to this, you always find a reason to keep on running.
Today I ran errands with Carrie and now I am just waiting for laundry to get done before tomorrow, and Netflix binged the anime "Host Club" since i haven't watched it in a while.  Ofcourse, its back to work tomorrow.
Aside from that, I am just wondering what the future has in store for me, and am hoping better things really are to come.

Round 2 in Dallas so far

Well everyone
so far Dallas has been just as I remembered -busy, really spread out, but alot of fun too. The other night I went to Buffalo Wild Wings with some coworkers after we where all off. Last night I just ran, and rested in my hotel room for the evening. OMG No matter what time I step out of the hotel I am staying at there are tons of people going or coming from somewhere. At the fair, I learned if you can fry it, they will it there. So far I've seen fried brownies, fried peanut putter, fried smores, fried cookie dough, and even fried pizza out of all things.*hehe*
Yesterday and Monday I worked from 11-7. Today I work from 12-8.  So I just ran, showered, watched Charmed on television and debating what I want to do for lunch before going in. Should I try the hotel food, just go to chik-fil a -hmm decisions decisions. I still can't believe today is my last 8 hour shift at the fair. Tomorrow I just work 10-3 and then I head back to San Antonio, and the fair is over on the 23rd of this month.
But as much as I am blessed to work the fair and see Dallas, it'll be good to get everything settled back in San Antonio. But I must say this event definitely came at the right time. I think I needed it more than my coworkers need me up here.
Anyway, love you all.

When god closes a door...

Hey everyone!
I know its been a while since I last wrote.  My mind just keeps on racing and I still don't know what to do or think.  I know everyone has assured me what has happened is for the best. . Part of me still feels like a horrible person, and I know I could have done things differently.  But, what happened already happened. It's the nights that are the hardest. During the day I can at least keep busy.  With everything said and done, I know I wasn't perfect either.  I can, and have complained about everything. I am not careful, I can be stubborn , pout, and not listen to anyone.
If god just closed a door for me, I am hoping that he show me we where the window is soon.
Anyway, aside from that, Wednesday, my friend Carrie trimmed my hair for me. Thursday I went with Jenn, and another friend of ours , also named Jenn to get  our nails done. Felicia and I ran 21 and 22 miles Friday morning.  Soon she will be heading off to do her marathon. :0) On Saturday , my moms friend Jim, and I where the aid station for my mom and our friend Irene so they could get their long run in. (They ran 18 miles that morning.)
Now I am back in Dallas for a few days to work the state fair. I'll be up here until Thursday, then it is back to San Antonio. The little work getaway was much needed. Working aside it's always just just to kick back and relax in an air conditioned hotel every now and then.  Then it's back to unpacking, and seeing what happens next . :0)

Love is

Well folks
a cab ride and megabus ride later, I am at home. My coworkers and I caught the megabus at 6:10 last night and arrived in San Antonio a little before midnight.  The trip took a little longer than planned because of traffic in Waco, and we had to switch buses in Austin.
Now it's back to routine. I went to the gym in an attempt to work off  the fried oreo, and fried cookie dough I had while I was up there. Now I am just enjoying the fact that I have the day off, and that I get to relax inside while it rains.
But last night I came to realize everyone deserves someone like my mom in their life. The bus was running late because of some traffic in Waco, and I forgot to tell her. My mom ended up waiting an hour late at night at a bus stop waiting for me to get  there so I would get home safely, even though she was tired and had to work in the morning. That's real love.
Take care everyone. Love you all.

Dallas so far

Hi everyone! Well after checking into our room at downtown Dallas, it literally has been work. I learned how to take the train from our hotel to  the  Fair where we work. I love seeing Big Tex and seeing everyone have fun while eating turkey legs and listening to the concerts there has been a blast.
I forgot how big and spread out Dallas is.  I feel like it takes 10/20 minutes to get anywhere at least.  But it has been nice getting away from my routine for a little bit . Last night after going to the fitness center I got to watch movies in a air conditioned hotel room  and it was nice just to do that after a long day. Last night I worked from 9:30-6 , today I worked from 12:30-9 to give you an idea of what my days have been like.
It is tempting to just ask to stay here for the whole fair but it goes on for three weeks and that would be too long to get away. It does feel weird knowing I'm close to our company headquarters so I am constantly being reminded to be on my best behavior.   But,  it's been fun getting to know some of my co-workers better and I look forward to even more adventures with them.  As much fun as it is to relax and watch movies in a hotel room, I look forward to seeing everyone back in San Antonio as well
Love you all.
