So I am not a deer or cat whisperer...

Happy Friday everyone!
Well, football season has offically started. The runs are getting longer for my moms running group, and it's at least starting to cool off a little. So far I have learned I have no luck with animals when I am running.
For my past few weeks my moms running group has been meeting at Ladybird Johnson Park on Saturday mornings to do our longer runs there. At seven in the morning, you can see all kinds of deer as you go around the park, eating grass ,waiting for people to feed it corn, wondering what mile they are going to see my slip and fall at, and going on other deer adventures. I've been so close I could almost pet them, but usually I am trying to get my milage done, and they would run away from me when I start to get closer. But one
of my coworkers got to have her picture taken with a baby deer at a Hunters Convention she worked at. Some people have all the luck.
Last night my moms running group did  a tempo run at Eisenhauer Park.  While I was running, I saw a cat walking around when my mom and I where finishing up. I tried to say hi to it, but it went into the bushes before I got a chance.  I guess I will have to continue trying to find mom a mascot for USAFit San Antonio. haha
Anyway aside from that, tonight I work at  a foam glow run at Six Flags tonight, and the rest of the weekend I am back at the park.
I hope everyone has a good weekend.
Love you all
