Only tried and true for the long runs...

Well folks
I stayed in last night because because my quads are still feeling it from the hill repeats last night.  Yesterday I worked a shift at Southpark mall after a sports conditioning class.
As most know, I am a coffee addict. Saturday morning I didn't have coffee before my long run, and I could tell it was not my best run.  Right before  mile 10, Felicia started to run ahead of me, and after that I was more running and walking.  Instead of the planned 17, I ended up running 16 miles. I also slipped at mile 13 at the dog park.  ( I know, I am graceful .)
Lesson learned: to start the day at work , or before her run , Donna will need her coffee. I know, I don't have a problem do I?
Today I am off.  Scott and I ate breakfast and now I am at my moms house, waiting for her to get done at four. *hehe* She wants to get an early start on our run tonight because there is a dinner not too far from where we run that she wants to catch the tail end off.  So she wants to get going just about as soon as she gets off work. So I came over, and am currently taking over her t.v. and computer while she works.   After today, I think mom needs to keep Netflix binging Gilmore Girls.  When I came over, she was wearing one of the shirts I got from the Philipines, and I was wearing one of her shirts, so this was our dialogue when I first got in.
Donna: You're wearing my shirt
Mom: You're wearing my shirt
Donna: Touche
I figure if mom keeps Netflix binging Gilmore Girls, I'll eventually get all her clothes from all the snacking she will be doing. HAHA . That is how I got a pair of shorts she liked.
Anyway, I hope that everyone is having a good Tuesday.
