Happy Thursday everyone! I went to the weekly staff meeting, and had lunch. I watched Sex and The City while Scott rested, since he is a little under the weather. I did go on my long run last Friday. Saturday I went to a friends birthday party, and Sunday morning went for a quick three mile run before work. It was after that I couldn't help but think, running really is life. *hehe* I noticed as I get my body used to the longer distances, the shorter distances are getting easier to do.
It is a definite reminder that no matter what you do, if you put your mind to something, you can do anything you put your mind to whatever your passion is. Now that I have a couple of fifteen milers under my belt, I feel more confident I will be able to complete the marathon. But like they say, the true test will be on race day. I still stand by what I say, and that my real plan is to have Scott drive ahead of me, and throw peanut butter and jelly sandwiches at me, so at least if nothing else I'll be protein packed through the later miles. *hehe*
Anyway now dinner is in my belly, and Scott is about to make coffee for us and the Thursday night football game, as usual is on. Our compromise is he lets me watch Sex and The City when I'm home in the afternoon because I understand football's going to be on when there is a game on. *hehe* That's how you can tell who had the t.v. last at our place. If it's on E! or Disney, or Oxygen, I had the t.v. last. If it's on SportsCenter, Scott had the t.v. last. If it's on one of the local stations, it could have been either one of us. (Dun dun duh!) lol Today is the first evening I really get to spend home. I've had to work evenings at the malls pretty much everyday this week, so it's nice just to kick back and relax this evening. After all, life is crazy, and I know I'm crazy. But it's nice to know I have someone who for some reason puts up with my crazy. *hehe*
